400 Errors in Public API Batch Download Endpoints

Hello ERCOT Development Team,

My team and I have been receiving 400 errors across all EMIL products that we consume through the Public API. Since approximately 12:00 PM CDT on May 29, we have been unable to make POST requests for batch document downloads.

The following is an example of a request that we normally make every hour to feed our systems incrementally following the Public API guidelines to prevent an overload in your servers:

Could you please confirm whether there are any ongoing issues with the API or any recent changes to the batch download endpoints that might explain this behavior?

Hi Diego,

Thank you for notifying us of this issue. After further investigation, we have found an issue with Friday's update to the API. We are currently applying a fix which should resolve the issue by early afternoon tomorrow (2026-06-02).
