Using MIS SOAP API to get a bid set

Following the discussion here, I am able to submit a bidset using the TestMIS SOAP API:

However, when I try to "get" the bid using a similar approach:

I get an error: Error while validating the Market Transactions request received from the Market Participant - No Bids or Product Types found under the BidSet in the request payload. - ERROR-BidSet-noncompressed-unrecognized product type

Unfortunately, the ERCOT documentation does not give an example of the message syntax for getting a bid set - only an example response.

How should I structure the message request to get a bid?

Just a quick thought...

add <tradingdate> and <markettype> to the request....

yes - redundant - but we submit both with a 'get' request - fingers crossed it's this easy.

I don't think the suggestion was any good.

However!

Instead of sending to client.service.MarketTransactions, can you send it to client.service.MarketInfo?

That is correct. In order to retrieve a BidSet you would use MarketInfo instead of MarketTransactions.
