v2.0.1 (test build) - preferred-monitor fix
Pre-release
Pre-release
This is an unsigned TEST build, not a stable release. It exists so multi-monitor users can confirm a fix before it ships in 2.0.1 proper. For everyday use, stick with the signed stable release - your in-app updater will never offer this build.
What this fixes
The Preferred Monitor setting (Settings > General) could silently fall back to your primary screen on some multi-monitor / mixed-DPI setups, so choosing a monitor had no effect (#72 / #166). This build makes the monitor match more robust and adds diagnostics so any remaining fallback shows up clearly in a Support Bundle.
How to run it
- Quit your current NetSpeedTray first (right-click the widget > Exit) - only one copy can run at a time, and this shares your existing settings.
- Download
NetSpeedTray-v2.0.1-test.exebelow and run it. It's a portable single file - no install. - It's unsigned, so Windows SmartScreen will say "unknown publisher": click More info -> Run anyway. (Your stable install is signed; this quick test build isn't.)
Your settings and history in %APPDATA%\NetSpeedTray are shared with your normal install and are not modified by this test.
