subsets EDASxChem and EDASxBau

Stefan Henrich edited this page Oct 11, 2016 · 8 revisions

Within the project SDBtransfer (www.sdbtransfer.de), the two subsets, EDASxChem and EDASxBau, of SDScomXML were defined; whereas EDASxBau is a subset of EDASxChem. The reason for defining these subsets is to restrict the effort to those data essential for the purpose of health and safety.

The following elements are discarded from the the subsets EDASxChem and EDASxBau with the SDScomXML version 4.2:##

3.2.1.4.2. IsHazardousComponent xs:boolean 0:1
There is a need for an element to state if a component shall be displayed in section 3, but users have different policies on this – some want to display hazardous as well as non-hazardous components. The default value of this element should be “true”.
