This showcase fills the
adventurekind gap in the example library (#2565, #2542, #2645) with the Adventure Generator in Pirate & High Seas — a natural pairing with our existing/for/...Pirate content. The Adventure Generator's whole product boundary is worth calling out: it doesn't hand you a scene-by-scene railroaded plot. It hands you a dynamic situation network with multiple avenues of action — an urgent objective, authentic escalating pressure, distinct locations and NPCs with leverage, actionable clues, and (in the GM-only half) complications, high stakes, and several genuinely different world outcomes.
Below is an unedited, raw output from rolling an AI-enhanced Pirate adventure (The Dead Man's Tontine).
The Dead Man's Tontine
Initial Situation
Six hours before the seasonal spring tides close the reef passage, the dying veteran privateer Captain Hector Cross was hauled aboard the party’s sloop with a serrated iron boarding gaff through his shoulder. Before expiring on the mess deck, Cross thrust a wax-sealed iron cylinder into the quartermaster’s hands—the master cipher key to the Ironhaven Tontine, an untouched fifty-thousand-sovereign war chest and land treasury accumulated by twelve privateer captains during the Grand Marque Wars.
Cross was the penultimate surviving signatory; his murderer—the twelfth and final surviving captain, 'Baron' Thaddeus Vance—is currently aboard a frigate anchored less than two cables away in the roadstead, methodically searching every outgoing pinnace under the cover of an imperial customs blockade. The master tontine assets are divided across the harbour: the cipher cylinder is aboard the party's sloop, the celestial astrolabe is concealed in Cross's prosthetic limb, the Admiralty charter registry is locked in the Governor's Spire, and the vault itself lies submerged beyond the barrier reef.
Primary Objective & Pressure
Unmask Cross’s assassin, recover the matching astrolabe and registry charter, and decrypt the submerged vault coordinates before the midnight spring tide ebbs in six hours (Midnight: Low-Tide Lockout), stranding the party’s ship under the 32-pounder guns of the imperial blockade squadron.

Do you run a crew-loyalty vote like the one here as a hard mechanical roll, or purely as roleplay pressure on the party?
