The multi-video migration grace period for uploadListingVideo is complete. As of October 21st, the endpoint supports up to two videos per listing for all sellers, and the is_multi_video parameter is no longer needed.
You can review the instructions of this feature in the "Multi-Video Upload for Listings" section in the Listings Tutorial.
What's changed
POST /v3/application/shops/{shop_id}/listings/{listing_id}/videos now always uses the multi-video behavior.
The is_multi_video query parameter has been removed. You no longer need to send it.
Uploading or associating a video no longer replaces the listing's existing video. A listing can now have up to 2 active videos.
What you need to do
Stop sending is_multi_video. We recommend removing it from your integration.
If your integration relied on a new upload replacing the previous video, update that logic. When a listing already has 2 videos, remove one before adding another, and handle 409 responses.
