Hi all,
I'm struggling with getting EVCC up and running with my Alfen Eve Single S-line, while maintaining the load balancing capability. Previously my Alfen Eve was set to monitor the P1 port of my smart energy meter. Based on the docs I switched that to Energy Management System. However what I found is that I then loose the load balancing capability. My connection to the grid consists of 3 phases, each protected by a 25A breaker switch. I put this to the test by charging my vehicle and at the same time turn on the oven and heatpump and I see it's easily getting 30A on L3. Previously my Alfen Eve would then slow down to bring the load around 25A on L3. It would then show: "Load Balancing Limited". It kinda makes sense as I couldn't really find where in EVCC specify the specs of the grid connection, hence it doesn't know when to slow down.
Now when I configure the Alfen Eve as EMS + Meter monitoring as shown below, I do get the load balancing capability back. However, EVCC now keeps throwing errors like:
Alfen: switch phases: modbus: exception '1' (illegal function), function '6'
heartbeat: modbus: exception '1' (illegal function), function '16'
Should I be concerned about these errors? I'm not really sure what they mean. And is my assumption correct the EVCC does not (yet?) support load balancing? Or did I miss something?
Any help is greatly appreciated!
