Indevolt API is documented at https://docs.indevolt.com/docs/hardware/geek/open-data/ and displays Power, SOC, Capacity. API allows to switch beteween 1) Normal mode (Prioritize Self-consumption) 2) Hold power or 3) Charge (variable). Displays Power, SOC

You can try it without complie evcc https://github.com/evcc-io/evcc/blob/master/CONTRIBUTING.md#device-templates
When you have this you can create a Pull Request in the browser.

to support battery control?

@flenaers I am thinking of purchasing an indevolt battery and was wondering if your user-defined device supports blocking battery discharge during fast charge / planned charging. If so I am happy to help with the template.

I created a PR with the updated battery template. I do not have a phyiscal Indevolt device so I could not test it in a real life setting. So anyone who already has this battery is welcome to give it a try.

@flenaers Can you verify that the charging/discharging arrow in the UI points into the right direction with your custom device? That question came up in the pull request because of comments in the original template and your custom device.

Hi @biodiv , I'm also using the custom template on my Indevolt setup (running Powerflex 2000 Hybrid + 2xPFA 2kWh). I can confirm that the arrow points in the correct direction. I'm running it without any 'scale' on the 'power:'-block.

To be clear: Negative = charging, Positive = discharging.

I have an Indevolt 3000 AC with extension battery running together with SMA, BYD and EVCC nightly. I would be happy to test the battery control template on real hardware and provide logs, screenshots and feedback. Just let me know what you would like me to test.
