Feature Request: Repeating schedules (plans) for HA smart plug / integrated heating devices
#34577
I control a simple electric water boiler (Daalderop) via a Tuya smart plug integrated through Home Assistant (homeassistant-switch template in evcc). I have configured the loadpoint in evcc with heating: true.
When setting up this loadpoint, there is a clear UI dilemma regarding planning and device presentation:
With integrateddevice: false:
The dashboard visually pairs the device with a "(Guest) Vehicle" / "Gast voertuig" section at the bottom, treating a simple electric boiler like an EV charger (which is confusing and non-sensical). While this mode does reveal a "Plan" button, it only allows setting a single, one-off plan for a specific day—it completely lacks options for repeating/recurring weekly schedules.
With integrateddevice: true:
Setting this option cleans up the UI nicely by removing the EV/vehicle clutter and showing a proper heating status bar with heat-themed colors (as shown in my attached screenshot). However, doing this completely removes the "Plan" button from the UI, making it impossible to schedule target heating sessions at all.
Currently, I have set integrateddevice: true to keep the UI clean, but this forces me to rely solely on dynamic price limits or PV surplus, without any scheduled control.
Proposed Feature
Please extend the repeating schedule functionality ("Herhalende schema's") to smart switch / integrated heating loadpoints (integrateddevice: true + heating: true).
