Using DaVinci 19.0.3.5, a bug of using flac:

  1. Download the flac file from
  2. Import this file into DaVinci
  3. Check 1'45"

This file can be transcode to 16-bit 7.1 flac and DaVinci can handle it correctly.
This file can be transcode to 24-bit 7.1 PCM Wave file and DaVinci can handle it correctly.
Other DAWs such as Reaper can handle the 24-71 correctly.
