FFI is not used for mat4

It seems FFI is currently not used for mat4: https://github.com/excessive/cpml/blob/master/modules/mat4.lua#L43

It has been disabled in this commit (2016): 3a18ed0

Is this well-known? Why is it like that? Are there plans to re-enable it?
