Executor not working with dictation

I just discovered Executor. It looks like a great program, much better than the one I was previously using. It doesn't seem to work with dictation though. The keyword gets entered but the list doesn't update. Do I need to set a configuration option? Is it a bug? Or do I need to make a feature request?

Hi and thanks for the feedback. Executor currently relies on individual key down events in order to do fast "per key" auto completion so unless the dictation software emulates this it probably won't work. I think though some workarounds can be added to still also support the dictation, will put this on the to-do list to look into.

I hope it's not too hard for you to get it working. Typing is very difficult for me and I rely heavily on dictation. I would love to use Executor because it's extremely powerful while using very little RAM. Thank you!

The following option was added in the latest version 2.2.11. Give it a try.

This version still requires saying "backspace" or "delete" before the list will update.

Ok strange, the list updates for me when using the Windows+H dictation (win10+win11), but doing a bit of research on dictation software they have a lot of different approaches on how they send text. What dictation software are you using, and what Windows version?

I'm using Dragon on Windows 10.

Released 2.2.12 try give that a spin (still using the "Synthetic input enabled" setting mention above). Dragon is paid so unfortunately can't test myself.

The first command entered after starting Executor causes the window to be hidden. After reopening from the system tray, the list still doesn't update with dictation.
I just learned about Talon Voice and will try to set it up and see if it works with Executor.
