Error when starting Elastic search

Hello,
we are currently looking into new intranet platforms. While installing Exo community Edition for evaluation purposes, I encountered an error which I was unable to resolve. I'm hoping you could assist me with this.
The error occured while installing exo via the docker-compose command found in the installation guide on your website. It looks like this:

Could you attach the full log of the startup of Elasticsearch ? there should be the cause of the failure to start Elasticsearch.
eXo platform depends on Elastic search for indexing/searching data, it won't start until ES is started

In addition, this errors seems related to a memory problem when docker tries to start Elastic container.
How much memory have you on your computer ?

Which OS have you on the server ?
If you are on Mac or Windows, you should have Docker Desktop.
Then, the default configuration for Docker use 2Go ram.
As the es container require 2Go itself, it could be killed by OOM Killer.

Then you can go in Preferences -> Advanced -> Memory
to increase default allocated memory for docker : https://docs.docker.com/desktop/settings/mac/#advanced

I am not getting the problem, since we are using the official Mysql docker image and we just pass the parameters MYSQL_ROOT_PASSWORD , MYSQL_USER and MYSQL_PASSWORD
eXo platform will connect to the Mysql container, using the provided username password.
Did you make changes on the docker-compose file ?

No I didn't make any changes to the docker-compose file. I looked it up and it still contains the default parameters.

Okay I just observed something strange. I connected to the mysql container via the docker-exec command and logged in as root user which has no default password. I then looked up the users in the database. There is no user called exo, which exo would use to connect to the database according to the docker-compose file.

Alright, I think I am getting somewhere.

I deleted all containers, including all volumes and all images from docker and did a fresh install after increasing the memory limit in docker settings.

It seems the initial fetch / installation was faulty due to the lack of enough memory.

The server is starting up and I am able to see the create user form.

Perhaps this is something you will want to add to the installation guide (making sure that docker has enough memory allocated before running the docker-compose command).

I looked up the documentation you linked. Unfortunately, the command "docker-machine" does not work on my server. After googling a bit, I found that this command was deprecated some time ago. Thus I don't see how I can change the

vm.max_map_count

If the Elasticsearch server started already, there won't be a need to change this option.
Otherwise, I provided the official documentation of Elasticsearch, they are still recommending docker-machine. I tried using Windows 11 and it worked with no issues.
