I saw just recently that you made new gentoo x64 packages, is it rude then to request that we x64 ubuntuusers also get a x64 .deb package? (impatiently awaiting the next stable release)

As gentoo is source-based it do not use packages the same way debian/ubuntu does, the same ebuild is us used to build for any platform. I assume you are looking at the build status, those are just for testing on multiple platforms, they do not produce any packages. I use three gentoo machines as they are easier to manage than the others.

Building x64 binaries for ubuntu is not any different than the i686 binaries, so sure.
