What is there to understand? Very excited for 2.0 and the rest of the implementations added. It's very important to take time for yourself, thanks for all your time and effort on this great project! |

Hey everyone,
First of all, building ADNS has been a wild ride, and I’m incredibly grateful for all the community feedback. When I first started working on the road to the 2.0 release, the vision was to create a powerful, feature-rich private DNS client, more than a simple toggle.
Along the way, I started experimenting with NextDNS integration, and honestly, I didn't imagine we'd get this close to a completely feature-complete NextDNS experience. This matters because NextDNS simply don't have an Android app, which makes changing profile configurations a headeache. I am really close to finishing the implementation of almost all of NextDNS's profile management features, built entirely natively for Android.
That said, for the next month development will slow down significantly as I am going to focus more on my mental health and a university course I am taking. I will probably be slower to respond to issues and PRs, but the project is not dead! I might roll out one last beta4 update before the stable one, but in any case, expect pauses between big updates.
I've also moved the important parts of the roadmap for the stable release to a public GitHub Project! You can check it out here to see the project's progress and the exact plans for the stable release.
Thanks so much for the understanding, and as always, keep opening issues for any problems, bugs or suggestions! Your feedback matters the most.
Love y'all ❤️,
Eyal
