open a pdf at a specific href in react js

Currently I have stored the pdf In the /src/documents folder. So when I open the pdf it has the link as being
/static/media/test.d4121241.pdf
How can I change this to a customised href. so
website.com/test.pdf

Put the file in the public folder. Then reference it via /test.pdf, like so:

<a href='/test.pdf'>Open the PDF</a>

Note that you reference the path and don’t import the file, since it’s outside the src directory.
