Unable to install signed apk

After successfulyl running
./gradlew assembleRelease

I put the "app-release.apk" into the phone, and tried to install it using File Browser. The app icon is showing nowhere.
"App not installed"

Do you have the debug version installed? In that case, you'll need to uninstall it first.

Also if you don't have a signing key, you need to add a signing key before you can install - http://facebook.github.io/react-native/docs/signed-apk-android.html#content

satya164 I've uninstalled the debug apk, configured the singin properties and generated a new keystore and a new signed apk but i'm still getting the same error while installing the apk on device or emulator.

Did you forget adding this line to build.grade by any chance?
