Bundle all factor resources into Factor.app?

Not a high priority, but...

It might be nice if building the factor .dmg file put all the factor resource files into the Factor.app so installation and application were more Mac-like.

It'd also be nice if it made a .zip instead because dmgs are a pain in the ass.

One downside of keeping the library and resources in the app bundle would be that browsing the distribution in Finder would be less convenient, since you'd need to "Show Package Contents" on the app to see the bundled resources, and that resources inside the bundle wouldn't be accessible to Open dialogs in most Mac apps.

True, but I'm thinking it would be more for users that want to experience the environment. Developers like us can keep using git?

I agree that a single-bundle distribution would be a better out-of-box experience for new users. Maybe there could be a script to generate symlinks into the Factor bundle to simulate the current distribution layout for people who prefer that.
