Glad to be of any assistance. This is a great addition to LMU. I will say one negative. I FORGOT TO PRESS THE START THE WEEKEND button in the app before launching LMU. So a great race on my part..didn't get activated. I also had a crash report from LMU at the end, but didn't notice anything out of the ordinary. The Start the Weekend button was partially obscurred by the notes. |

It was my fault, I just started the next weekend from the main menu and then launched LMU. I only saw the button when I exited LMU. But upon the next launch it was waiting for me to start LMU, so I ran a single practice session and that reported properly to the race engineer. So all good, user error. I did stretch the original image vertically when I posted over at the LMU forum about FS. |
Uh oh!

What this is for
Every briefing sets a Fuel Usage (Real, x2 or x3) so a race gets the pit stops it should, for example one stop near halfway in a 1-hour race. To pick the right setting, Factory Seat has to know how long a full tank lasts.
Right now it uses one number for every car and track: 50 minutes at Real. That was a placeholder I never measured, and it's wrong in places. A player's LMP3 race at Imola went past an hour on one tank, so the planned stop never came. Thanks for reporting it!
Where the numbers stand
LMU's results files record how much fuel and Virtual Energy every car uses on every lap, AI included. I went through 288 of my own race files and worked out the median tank time for each class and track (green-flag laps only, with usage adjusted for the race's Fuel Usage setting). Some examples at Real:
So the track matters as much as the class, and 1.2 will use a table of class Γ track instead of one number.
Why I need your help
What to send
Results files from offline races only (any length, any class), especially:
Every AI car in a race counts, so a few races help a lot. You don't need to send your whole folder.
The files are in
Le Mans Ultimate\UserData\Log\Results, named by date and time (e.g.2026_10_15_00_19_44-93R1.xml). Zip the ones you want to share and attach the zip here.Privacy, and how to remove your name
GitHub attachments are public. A results file contains:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Le Mans Ultimate). If you installed it inside your user folder (C:\Users\<you>\...), that includes your Windows username. It has no Steam ID and no account info. Online races also contain other real players' names, which is why I'm asking for offline only.
To take your name out before sending:
Player. Click Replace All.Both only appear as plain text, so nothing is left behind.
Credit
If you'd like to be thanked in the 1.2 release notes, say so in your comment and tell me what name to use. If you don't say anything, I won't list you.
Open until the 1.2 beta. Thanks for helping! π
