IMSA season with US Track Pack tab and Manufacture Relationships, ideas to improve factory seat #21

Thanks for writing this up, and for bringing it over from Reddit! Taking them one at a time: 1) IMSA with the US Track Pack: this one's on my list. You're right that the DLC picker already gives us the gating, so it'd be optional like everything else. It's not going to be in the next update, but it's not forgotten. 2) True calendar with clashes: I really like this one. Right now a season is one championship plus guest drives, so the closest thing today is choosing which guest drives to take around your main calendar. A full calendar where series clash and your contract decides your priority is a bigger structural change, but it's being looked at as a potential direction once there's more than one championship running at a time. 3) Manufacturer relationships: you're going to like what's next. Building a relationship with a brand, and having that carry you toward its Hypercar (AF Corse → 499P, exactly your example), lines up very closely with what's being planned. Your point about seeing how each team rates you is a good one, and I'm taking it into that work. Keep the ideas coming, and good luck closing out that GT3 title with AF Corse 🏁 |

This is a discussion I started on Reddit a couple of days ago (u/carbdaymau). As Fuzzy asked me to write it down here, I decided to do it, and add further add another idea.
With the new US Track Pack tab in the menus, FactorySeat can use it to add an "IMSA-style" championship to the app.
As it includes a DLC, it needs to be optional. But users already select which DLCs they have, so if he adds the US Track Pack, he can compete in IMSA. It's another amazing option and a further way to develop the app.
Zero to Apex players will get it.
When you compete in two or more championships (IMSA and ELMS, for example), there will be clashes between races. In Zero to Apex, you have access to a calendar where you can see: "On June 15th, there will be an IMSA race at Road America, a WEC race in Interlagos, and an ELMS race in Portimão". And if you are engaged in more than one championship, you have to choose which one to compete in.
You can have contract clauses within the teams that say, "this is your priority, and you can't skip races here".
It is another idea from AMS2's Race Pace app that is lovely applied here.
I am finishing my first season in GT3, and I'm racing with Ferrari's factory team AF Corse. I'm leading the championship, and yet it does not change my relationship with the team.
If the app adds this mechanic. I will be able to build a relationship with Ferrari and AF Corse, and I'll have the chance to get contracts from Ferrari teams. So, as I advance through my career, I have a bigger chance to join Hypercar in the 499P than with Aston Martin or Genesis. I could join first in the #83 and then evolve to the factory cars.
Also, this mechanic would improve an already present one. As I won my first race in GT3, I impressed Iron Linx; as I won the Le Mans 24h, I impressed the Lexus guys. I should be able to see how the other teams see me. That would add a further dimension to the career mode. It would be amazing.
