Ciderpress2 win32 ?

Hi there, win32 does not seem to work on Win2k? What is the minimum Win32 CP2 is build for? Thx!
(I currently use CP1 on Win2k but the Disk-Structure (all files at once on all volumes) is not so handy. CP2 seems to offer a better solution for this) Thx Doc

Windows 7 is the earliest version of the OS that I'd expect CP2 to run on. The code relies on .NET Core 6, which officially only supports Windows 10 and later, but in the past I've run the CLI on Win7 32-bit. Win7 support isn't something I test with any regularity, so I the official line is Win10 or later.

I thought this information was on the installation page, but apparently I just imagined that. :-)

The 32-bit build exists mostly for support of non-Windows systems (https://github.com/fadden/CiderPress2/blob/main/Install.md#support-for-other-systems). It's the version I use for the MacOS Wine executable, because their 32-bit emulation seems more stable.

Ah ok, thx! so Intel-Mac required for the wine-32bit version. I am currently on M4/Mini. No Problem, CP1 just worked fine today on K6/3-450 Win2K for writing INSTANT.REPLAY and TOTAL-REPLAY for HD-Files created with the reactive-micro IDE controller. Best regards Stefan

I do my testing and Wine packaging on a Mac Mini M4. If you go to the Releases page you can download CP2Mac107.zip, which is a pre-packaged Wine executable for MacOS. (Warning: it's very large.)

I don't do an Apple Silicon-native build because (a) it's not needed, and (b) there are additional build steps required (new signing requirement). If Apple drops x86 support at some point I'll need to update.

Thx, they already told that the next release of MacOS is the last for Intel. They will not remove Rosetta2 with that versions but it's obvious that they will do that in the near future. I will give the CP2Mac107.zip a try. Thx!

It works on my m4mini. A bit complicated install-process for a Macuser. ;) but it works. Thank you!
