remove phone extension, but sometimes it come without ext

Thank you ZasMan, it wokrs but sometimes the phone number generated come without extension, applying your solution I got
"972-469"
which it's not a validated phone number, and my test fail.

@mlotfi2005, here's how (I don't claim this is most efficient), but it will work:

number = ((1..1000).to_a.shuffle.join.to_s)[0, 9]
# Will return a string like "170720486"
phone_no_formatted = "(#{number[0,3]}) #{number[3,3]}-#{number[6,6]}"
# Will return a string like "(170) 720-486"

Notice how I just added in the (), space, and dash in the string.
