[Thank you] Stepping down from core maintainers #516

Context

Opening this issue to formally notify my intent to step down from the Core Maintainer role, as per the Falco governance.

I can no longer give this role the time it deserves. It carries real responsibilities like reviews, decisions, community work, and half-presence does more harm than good. Staying on paper while contributing nothing felt wrong, so here I am.

Happy to be moved to emeritus_approvers in the relevant OWNERS files. I'll remain reachable for knowledge transfer on anything I have context on, just ping me on maxgio92@pm.me.

I got involved when the Test Infra working group was just getting started, from bootstrapping the CI infrastructure, working alongside @poiana flying across repos 🐦

Bonus point

For those who never knew: the bot's picture is Dodó, the dodo from the classic Italian kids' TV show Albero Azzurro, chosen together back in the day of the Test Infra WG with @fntlnz @leodido @leogr. Consider it an unsealed secret. 🐦

Thank you

Watching the tooling and infra mature over the years has been one of the most rewarding things I've been part of in the open source.
The Falco community was my first real open source community, I felt welcomed since the beginning and encouraged to receive and give the value back to the community and the project the way I could. I still think that the community spirit is the foundation of the open source, and thanks to you I've learnt what that means, and I today embrace that philosophy.

I learnt a lot thanks to the people in this community, so, thank you ❤️

Take care, and fly high. 🦅
