Hello! First, I just want to say that this project made my day (or even my year!). I switched to Linux a while ago, and Generals never worked perfectly for me through compatibility tools. This port works flawlessly!
I do have one issue regarding the custom map list. I have a little over 2,000 custom maps, but the game limits the menu output to 100 by default.
I know the standard fix for this is editing the UI file (Window/Menus/WOLMapSelectMenu.wnd -> Line 145: LISTBOXDATA = LENGTH: 100), but I cannot get the loose file override to work on my GeneralsX install.
I noticed there is a Data folder in the root directory, as well as a ZH_Generals folder that also contains its own Data folder. I tried placing the modified .wnd file in both locations (maintaining the correct Window/Menus/ structure), but the game still isn't reading the edited file.
Does GeneralsX handle loose file overrides differently, or am I missing a specific path? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance for your time!
