Week 1 focused on project initialization and planning activities.

Completed Activities

  • The GitHub repository was created using a school email account.
  • Team members were added as collaborators.
  • Branch protection rules were configured for the main and develop branches.
  • A GitHub Project board was created to track tasks and progress.
  • Week 1 issues were defined and assigned to team members.
  • Initial workflow and branching strategy were agreed upon.

Ongoing Activities

  • Team members are working on their assigned Week 1 tasks using feature branches.
  • Pull request and review workflow is being actively used.
  • Initial documentation files (README and INSTALL) are being prepared.

Next Steps

  • Complete all Week 1 tasks and merge related pull requests into the develop branch.
  • Update the project board by moving completed tasks to the Done column.
  • Finalize the Week 1 progress report with links to issues and pull requests.
