This release WILL trigger a migration, please bak up your data before triggering it. From now on all categories will have a .category-info.json file containing a category uuid, sharing information and item order. The next step will be to change the user system to focus on user uuids instead of usernames, but it's not gonna be as involved as this, much easier. May need another migration, but I'll let you know <3
This was an ENORMOUS effort that took me a whole month to achieve, however now we can bring Jotty to the next level. Whilst my plan is and will always be apparent simplicity, anyone who's been on this journey with me will know the app is way more complex than it leads to believe. With this change in functionality and approach I am hoping more complex features will finally be easier to handle. For example, it took me 3 weeks to change all the logic and about 3 days to finally implement folder sharing, which was one of the most requested features (but also the hardest to achieve without a database).
Hope the migration goes well for everyone and you enjoy the new version as much as I (and some beta testers) have for the past week or so.

features
Updated all CRUD operations to always ONLY use uuid, been trying to do this forever and I finally cut some time out of everything else to focus on it. This was a huge undertaking and I am frankly exhausted. I'll explain further in the release why it was absolutely necessary, but I have a discussion here talking about it: Community decision around note/checklist urls #485
Because of that effort we now have FOLDER SHARING, I am very proud on how it works. I have tried to add this feature for months but I finally have a system I feel is good enough for production, and it seems to be working beautifully. This however means the release comes with a migration.
Added sharing badges, inherited-access notices, and folder-sharing controls.
Added border-radius customisation and persistent checklist emoji visibility preferences.
Please feel free to leave comments in the attached discussion or on discord in case you have any issues and/or want to just give feedback (good or bad is appreciated regardless) on the new release or Jotty in general.
