Fixed

The app could close when you came back to it. Clicking an empty part of the title bar after switching away from KAPTUR — an alt-tab, a Windows shortcut, a screen capture — could bring the whole application down. The window-drag call rejects a click when the mouse button is no longer physically held, and after a window switch the event and the device disagree about that. Both windows now check the real state.

Windows + Shift + S was taken for a game. The screen-clipping overlay covers every monitor at once, so KAPTUR's fullscreen heuristic saw a game starting, then closing three seconds later. Your Discord presence jumped, the next clips inherited the wrong name, and in Medal mode the capture engine was stopped and restarted on every screenshot. Nothing living under the Windows folder can be a game any more.

Crashes left no trace. The log is written by a background thread, which is right in normal use and useless when the process is dying — it never got to write. It now waits for the write, so an incident leaves a stack behind instead of silence.

The animated background leaked. Every window resize stacked thirty more animations on particles that were no longer displayed, and nothing was ever released.

New

Rename your clips. From the thumbnail, the right-click menu, or the player. It renames the actual file in your clips folder — not a label. If the clip is open in the player, KAPTUR releases it, renames it, and reopens it at the exact second you were on.

A download button on Discord. The Rich Presence card now carries a DOWNLOAD HERE button. This needed talking to Discord's local pipe directly — the library KAPTUR used has no button support at all — which removed an external dependency along the way.

The search field behaves. Its placeholder clears when you click into it and comes back when you leave.
