@mizdebsk Hi. Could you please check if the change in the CLI make sense to you? You don't need to check the C++ code.
Also, I think it could be time to deprecate the 2 original annotations and leave only %java_remove but I don't think there is any deprecation process in RPM macros.

Why keep maintaining the rpm macro at all? Can't you simply call the jurand command from spec files?

Re macro deprecation, you can make them print a warning before removing them, like fedora-java/javapackages@2850f99

Maybe it is a good idea to deprecate the macros and use the plain executable.
