In this situation you neither have the knowledge, you yourself don't know the system, nor have access to experts have the knowledge, they all left the company. We are able to observe, by deploying the system, and make inferences. Depending on the repeatability of our observations this would be either a complex or chaotic. Under the assumption that there is a relation I am opting for 3; a complex domain. |

Assume you need to modify the behavior of a legacy system. The engineers who built it are no longer with the company, there are no tests, and the only way to learn the outcome of making the change is to deploy it to a test/staging environment and see how it behaves. What type of Cynefin domain is this?
