Feature: Group Selection

What feature or improvement do you think would benefit Files?

Files is awesome, truly. But being able to select a group like the original file explorer would be nice.
Plus It's pretty slow on my windows 10. The GUI lags like crazy, I'm gonna guess y'all used C# on this one.
The backend is pretty fast though, but that affects the GUI (That's what I think).
And the black squares that appear behind the icons on the sidebar, are not good
