[Linux native] Is there a good way of re-adding an installed app to my applications list without reinstalling the app?

Somehow, I managed to accidentally delete the application entry, and would very much like it back, though I see no obvious way of getting it to generate again without reinstalling, and I don't want to risk losing the data for the application. Is there at all a good way of getting that re-added, or am I going to have to do it by hand?

If you open the edit page for a web app in the extension, and click apply, it will re-generate the desktop integration. You can also run "Update web apps" from the extension settings which will do this for all installed web apps.

I'm using the CLI version; do the instances that that creates come with the extension on or something? Likely me being stupid but I can't seem to find it

No, web app instances don't have the extension, but you can install the extension in your main browser.

However, if you use only CLI, you can also re-register the web app by running firefoxpwa site update SITE-ID, where you can obtain the ID from firefoxpwa profile list.
