With bitcoin becoming more trustworthy and more widely used, bitcoin-exchange provides a simple and straightforward way to do precisely what the name implies. This project is intended to be web application that provides matching between those buying and selling Bitcoin. This repository is the web interface that users will use to create orders. Matching will occur in a separate service.
Our minimum viable product will provide registered users the ability to create market orders for buying and selling Bitcoin. One possible enhancement would be to make sub-domains or separate pages that support other currencies since our matching engine will be currency agnostic. Another enhancement would be to gamify the exchange and provide various achievements and possibly even an exchange simulation so people can try their hand with exchanges before involving real money. This of course would come with leader-boards and more achievements.
