Explicitly point to /index in typesVersions for v1, v2, logger, and params. This is required for moduleResolution: node to correctly resolve types for directory indexes.

Unblocks firebase/functions-samples#1227.

Summary of Changes

Hello @taeold, I'm Gemini Code Assist1! I'm currently reviewing this pull request and will post my feedback shortly. In the meantime, here's a summary to help you and other reviewers quickly get up to speed!

This pull request resolves a TS2307 TypeScript error by adjusting the typesVersions configuration within package.json. It explicitly directs the type resolver to the index file for the v1, v2, logger, and params modules. This change is essential for ensuring proper type resolution when using moduleResolution: node, particularly for directory indexes, and unblocks a dependent pull request.

Highlights

  • TypeScript Error Resolution: Addresses and resolves the TS2307 error that occurred when resolving types for specific modules.
  • Type Resolution Configuration: Explicitly configures typesVersions in package.json to point to the /index file for v1, v2, logger, and params modules.
  • Module Resolution Compatibility: Ensures correct type resolution for directory indexes when moduleResolution: node is used, unblocking a related pull request.

Code Review

This pull request correctly fixes a TypeScript type resolution issue by updating the typesVersions in package.json. The changes explicitly point to the index files for the logger, params, v1, and v2 namespaces. This is a necessary correction for compatibility with moduleResolution: "node". The changes are accurate, minimal, and well-aligned with the project's structure. I have no further recommendations.
