[firebase_core]: Upgrading to 4.5.0 makes Hot Restart hang indefinitely on Android

We have a large commercial app, and after upgrading to firebase_core 4.5.0, Hot Restart hangs indefinitely.

In the meantime, we have pinned 4.4.0, which does not exhibit this behavior.

Tested device: Pixel 6

Reproducing the issue

1. Upgrade to firebase_core 4.5.0
2. Try to Hot Restart

Hi @stx, I’m unable to reproduce this issue using the firebase_core example app.

Steps I followed:

• Initialized Firebase using Firebase.initializeApp.
• Performed a hot restart of the app.
• Initialized Firebase again with Firebase.initializeApp.

In my case, everything worked as expected.

Could you please provide a minimal reproducible example in the form of a repository that I can clone to reproduce the issue? Also include clear, detailed steps outlining how to trigger the problem. This will help us investigate the issue more effectively.
