Hi Krobelus and co. Not sure if any of you use the Ghostty terminal but they're currently working on semantic prompt handling and I saw a comment you might find of interest; i know there have been some recent changes in Fish to improve OSC133 related things.

I wonder what terminals do with the information added by the k=s marker for prompt continuation lines (i.e. the prompt on e.g. the second line of a multi-line command line); fish doesn't have configurable continuation-line-prompts.
Instead, the continuation line prompt is indentation only, based on where the first prompt line starts.

Looks like the marker is used for some optimization things. When the terminal is resized, the lead prompt line can be kept while the secondary lines need to be erased for reflow. ghostty-org/ghostty@4bee820
