AggregateError on first connect

Problem

After upgrading to ipfs@0.41, @icidasset and I both got AggregateErrors when attempting to connect to the Fission node over wss.

This error could be overcome by multiple attempts (always worked on the 2nd try) or by setting a timeout before the initial attempt (100ms was not enough, 150ms works some of the time, 200ms always worked).

The problem went away for @icidasset for unknown reasons, and is now only happening for me in FF (Chrome works fine).

One suspicion is that this has to do with my in-browser ipfs cache.
