Hi everyone!
First off, huge thanks to all the maintainers and contributors for Flameshot. It has been my daily driver for years, and it is easily one of my favorite Linux utilities.
Still, I always found myself wishing for just a little bit of "extra dessert" on top - namely native video recording with sound, quick window snapping, and maybe a built-in radio (just kidding!).
So I spent some time tinkering and modernized a slightly older release (v12.1.0) tailored for my daily Linux workstation (Debian 12).
Here is what was implemented in this fork (Flameshot +):
All changes are licensed under GPLv3, fully open-source, and tested:

I wanted to share this with the community and the core team. If any of these implementations, ideas, or architectural approaches look interesting to you, please feel free to borrow, cherry-pick, or adapt whatever you find useful into upstream Flameshot.
Thanks again for building such a great tool!
