[2.x] iPad and touch devices require a double tap in the discussion list

Current Behavior

This is still a bug in Flarum 2.0: https://discuss.flarum.org/d/21691-ipad-logged-in-bug-have-to-double-tap-in-the-discussion-list

On the iPad (and probably other touch devices), you have to tap a discussion twice to open it. The CSS at the bottom of the discussion seems to fix it, but I'm not sure if that's still the best solution: https://discuss.flarum.org/d/21691-ipad-logged-in-bug-have-to-double-tap-in-the-discussion-list/15

Steps to Reproduce

Go to https://discuss.flarum.org/ on an iPad. Tap on a discussion. You need to tap it again for it to open.

Expected Behavior

You shouldn't need to tap twice on the iPad.

I dived into to this and thought I could see the problem, but now I've just got my hands on an iPad I've been testing, and I cannot reproduce what you say here, even testing against discuss...

Is there a particular set of steps to reproduce this? Maybe particular iPadOS versions, etc?

I'm on iPadOS 26.4 and testing on an M1 iPad Air (2022) in portrait mode, which gives it a viewport resolution of 820 x 1180.

Thanks. I'm testing on an old iPad Pro 11 inch running 18.5 - everything good here.. Will try updating the OS and test again
