Make sure these points are adequately covered in as few words as possible, without duplicating content that already exists, on the following pages:

Points

Hi everyone!

Some folks in the US are taking Monday off, and some are not. It is up to you what holidays you want to take off. Fleet just asks:

1. You create an "out of office" event in google calendar for the days when you are out
2. You reschedule meetings your organize
3. You find someone to cover your responsibilities when you're out (eg oncall, slack channels where you are the DRI)

(Also if you need to take the day off quickly due to an emergency, then please let your team know and they will help take care of the above for you)

Happy weekend all!

PS. If you are ever wanting to take a day off, and the only thing stopping you is internal (Fleetie-only) meetings, consider: "Is this a meeting that can be rescheduled to another day without messing up the company's plans?"

Otherwise, please feel no obligations: it is OK to reschedule internal meetings that can wait, so that you can take a day off.

> - There may or may not be file attachments in the original Slack message. Either way, they are not included here.
> - The link to the original Slack message will always break eventually, and may already be broken. (Slack messages are deleted after 90 days.)
> - This automation lives in mikermcneil's Zapier account.
