Syncing failed with E020: Could not parse server response. (...special characters at title)

FYI: stopped syncing with error E020 but terminates without an error after remove of the eye (👁) in FF bookmars "Name"
...found a bunch of other bugs like this when I searched for E020 so feel free to close this bug as duplicated

I get this same error despite reinstalling bookmarks and floccus, and running the troubleshooting guide, here are the logs:
