2026-09-26 — Accuracy pass, tool-surface corrections, contributor removal - Removed contributor-facing content: deleted Spec-Contributing.md and its sidebar section, Home audience row, and inbound links; de-scoped the Style Guide's contributor references. - Corrected the world model's Inform provenance (conventions drawn from Inform, not "powered by"), and fixed the ruleset-free server and Pattern Buffer names. - Fixed Convert and Build accuracy: column detection restores reading order and multi-page table reassembly merges broken tables (distinct operations); OCR is a scan-page fallback; extraction is bounded by the convergence loop and unmodeled content stays searchable. - Corrected the tool surface across 15 pages to the canonical manage_/resolve_ names; rewrote the Tools catalog to the 34 registered tools (added belief, identity, causal, corpus, index, graph, agent, perception; fixed respond/ undo/redo/help). - Updated stale README section citations (now §1–§3) and refreshed the @spec:line_count marker.

2026-08-17 — Complete hat→badge terminology sweep Replace remaining 'hat' role references with 'badge' across Playing the Game, Novels, Game Mastering, World and Narrative Model, Style Guide, Adventure Modules, Jobs, Updating a Server, and Building a Server. Rename hat_briefing→badge_briefing, hat-marker→adjudicator marker, hat_scope→badge_scope. Badges and Glossary retain the term as rename documentation.
