Summary of Changes

Hello @fulleni, I'm Gemini Code Assist1! I'm currently reviewing this pull request and will post my feedback shortly. In the meantime, here's a summary to help you and other reviewers quickly get up to speed!

This pull request primarily focuses on maintaining the project's build health and significantly enhancing its documentation. It updates the project's dependencies by pinning the core package to a specific commit and generating a new pubspec.lock file. Concurrently, the README.md has been completely refreshed to provide clearer, more engaging information about the email_client package's purpose and features, while also performing minor cleanup of build-related files.

Highlights

  • Dependency Updates: The pubspec.yaml now explicitly pins the core dependency to a specific commit hash, and a new pubspec.lock file has been generated to reflect the resolved dependencies across the project.
  • README Revamp: The README.md has undergone a significant overhaul, featuring a new visual header with a logo, updated badges, and a comprehensive 'Feature Showcase' section that details the EmailClient interface, error handling, and implementation agnosticism.
  • Build Configuration & Cleanup: The .gitignore file was updated to correctly ignore coverage/ output and remove outdated entries, and the test/.test_optimizer.dart file, which was a generated test file, has been removed.

Code Review

This pull request updates dependencies, build configurations, and documentation. Pinning the core dependency to a specific commit and tracking pubspec.lock are positive changes for stability and reproducibility. The README.md has been significantly improved, but I've left a couple of comments with suggestions to correct a method description and restore a usage example to make the documentation even more helpful for developers.

- Add 'subject' parameter to 'sendTransactionalEmail' method description
- Improve clarity on email sending process using pre-defined templates
