Listen to SIP at background or terminated app.

I am using FCM to wake up the app but I can't listen to sip listeners at the top-level method.
I am using Flutter_Incoming_callkit to display call notifications but I cant accept the call.

@ahmedradwan18 You can't listen to SIP in background but you can wake up your device to re-register to SIP and start listening.

You can't keep alive a socket connection.

Make sure you also consider app in battery save mode and doze mode.

I am also facing the issue. I used FCM and flutter incoming callkit to accept the call. When I press accept button, the app is waken.vAnd as soon as SIP initialization, the call was not there in the app. Because, my used third party service (mizu) gateway only sends the active extension(phone numbers). When the app is exited by the user, the SIP connection was destroyed and server can't know. so it doesn't send.
The only possible way for me is to keep SIP connection alive even though app is exited by the user.
Could someone tell me how to make SIP connection alive? I know if I need to open the background service on the app, drawbacks are battery draining and security concern. But I need the options for some users to keep SIP alive.

@AungKOO , how to use fcm to get the incoming sip call? the below param of sip ua setting is necessary to get communicate with fcm?

you cann't, when app in background, the sip connection will cancel, so if you want to handle case incoming call, you should use fcm to awake app and reconnect sip connection. That's in theory, but in reality I haven't been able to do it yet

The problem is, even if using a singleton class to init the SIPUAHelper when the notification arrives and register it, it will not use the same instance as when the app is in foreground, so one is not able to get the call.

Has anyone come up with a solution for this?

I used the flutter_foreground_task plugin to keep the SIP connection active in the background. While handling video calls remains a challenge, audio calls have been implemented.

The connection will stay active until we stop the service. I haven't tested it with battery saving enabled yet.
