Feature request: a visual animation inspector

The Animation UX study shows that developers have trouble understanding how different objects in animations fit together. Developers also have a need to replay, and potentially "scrubbing" the timeline of an animation to fine-tune its parameters.

To address both needs, it would be helpful to provide a visual animation inspector that shows the animation in the current UI in a timing chart representation (similar to what Chrome DevTools do). The inspector can allow the user to view the hierarchical relationship between the controller object and animation objects it controls, and allow the user to control the animation using a GUI for debugging purposes.
