Cannot see variables

Steps to Reproduce

Add any variable manually to the watchlist.

Edit : Holding the mouse above a variable does not reveal the value anymore either.

Which version of the Flutter plugin do you have?

I cannot reproduce this using Flutter plugin v73.

Is this what you mean by "Holding the mouse above a variable"? This is a portion of my editor.

I added state.members to the watch list.

Ah, I thought that was included in the flutter doctor. Might wanna file an issue to the to include this info like it is for the VSCode plugin.
I'm on Android Studio 2021.2.1 Patch 2 with plugin version 71.2.2 (latest available for this version.

But I just found that the issue only arrives within extension methods. I have an extension on BuildContext with a method where the variables don't appear in the watchlist or the mouse over, but they do get shown on the right side :

This is due to a problem in the VM. See dart-lang/sdk#52522

However, your version of Dart won't get the patch. You'll have to update to Flutter 3.10 or later to get it. And there is another problem in the plugin you are using, so you'd have to upgrade your IDE as well.
