Animations not working when using Container widget

the parent is:
Scaffold -> PageView

I edited the first page to use Container instead of Padding,
it is only the second page that has trouble with Container.

I also changed the order of pages, its not related to PageView,
ok I figured out, it is because of the color property:

new Container(
//color: Colors.white,

when I comment it everything is normal,
but when I use it, no animations for the buttons etc.

I investigated further,
color is the shorthand for BoxDecoration:color
I tried both image and color on decoration: new BoxDecoration
this disabled the animations on buttons etc.

This is the expected behaviour. But it's also really confusing, there are a few stackoverlow questions on this.

The explanation is simple : InkResponse is rendered on the closest Material, which is above the decorated container. Consequence, having a Scaffold > Container with opaque background > RaisedButton will hide the Ink effect.
