Question Where to look
What role does this page play? Read the summary and source content.
What does it constrain? Trace named contracts, algorithms, fixtures, or handoff docs.
How is it checked? Use the linked CI and conformance artifacts.

Aeostara Remediation Status

Last updated: 2026-06-22 Status: Complete - base-design conformance, release, and repository-separation gates passed

Authority Statement

  • ASH is the immutable upstream semantic authority.
  • Aeostara is the platform-agnostic base-design specification package that conforms to ASH.
  • Platform repos consume Aeostara; Aeostara does not depend on platform repositories, platform branches, or native platform source files.
  • If Aeostara conflicts with ASH, Aeostara changes.

Corrected Completion Posture

Previous completion language based on branch/profile alignment has been superseded. Branch profiles and native source expectations are not active Aeostara base-design completion gates. Useful platform-specific requirements now belong in downstream handoff guidance and platform-repository conformance templates.

Aeostara may be marked complete only after these gates pass:

  1. Existing retained CI gates.
  2. Schema and schema-example validation.
  3. Fixture conformance validation with expected outputs.
  4. ASH baseline traceability and invariant coverage.
  5. JSON Pointer and semantic projection checks.
  6. Diagnostic-chain integrity checks.
  7. Recovery, policy, backup, rollback, fallback, containment, and safe-halt consistency checks.
  8. Downstream platform handoff checks.
  9. Static audit confirming no active platform-branch dependency language remains.

Active Base-Design Surface

  • ASH baseline binding layer.
  • JSON configuration semantic model.
  • Semantic projection and ASH state mapping layer.
  • Diagnosis-first healing lifecycle.
  • Recovery, fallback, containment, and safe-halt contracts.
  • Policy, backup, execution, verification, rollback, and audit contracts.
  • Downstream platform repository handoff requirements.
  • Fixture-based conformance validation.
  • Audit-ready traceability to ASH.

Current Judgment

SELF_AUDIT_REPORT.md, FINAL_CLOSEOUT_REPORT.md, and REPOSITORY_MIGRATION_CLOSEOUT.md record the final gate set for the base design and repository split.

Final judgment: CONFORMANT.
