Code Review

This pull request correctly bumps the project version to 0.3.0 in both Cargo.toml and pyproject.toml, resolving a previous inconsistency between the two files. My review includes a suggestion to improve the versioning process to ensure these files remain synchronized in the future, which will enhance maintainability.

While this change correctly aligns the versions in pyproject.toml and Cargo.toml, I noticed they were out of sync previously (0.2.0 here and 0.1.0 in Cargo.toml). To prevent this from happening in the future and to simplify the release process, consider using a tool to manage version bumping across both files automatically. Tools like bump-my-version or tbump can be configured to update the version string in multiple files, ensuring they always stay synchronized.
