Updated Connecting Your MCP Client (markdown)
Add custom sidebar and remove duplicate h1 headings
Custom _Sidebar.md replaces the alphabetical page list with a
logical grouping: Getting Started, Testing & Debugging, Security,
Reference. Removed first-level headings from all content pages
since GitHub wiki already displays the page title.
docs: Final review pass — fix links, update tool names, remove draft page
- Named Query links: corrected to official REST API docs URL
- ECA profile/permission set links: corrected to current Help article
- describeSObject → getObjectSchema in Postman testing guide
- Remove Architecture-and-Patterns.md (moved to draft outside wiki)
- Remove architecture link from Home.md table of contents
- Ross's manual edits to Security-and-Permissions and Confirming-Availability
docs: Add illustrations to Home, remove sandbox URL writeup, cleanup
- Add ligne claire car illustrations to the three-source documentation
section on Home page (getting-started, administration, advanced-development)
- Remove writeup-sandbox-urls.md (content covered in Connecting page)
- Clean up links in Home.md and Connecting-Your-MCP-Client.md
- Update .gitignore and CLAUDE.md references
docs: Rewrite wiki for three-source model at GA
Transform wiki from primary setup guide (beta era) to director's
commentary layer complementing official docs on developer.salesforce.com
and help.salesforce.com.
Major rewrites: Home (navigator), Confirming-Availability (replaces
Enable-the-Beta), Configuring-an-External-Client-App (auth rationale),
Connecting-Your-MCP-Client (URL patterns + My Domain), Testing-and-
Evaluating (agent effectiveness + rollout guidance).
New pages: Where-to-Find-Documentation, FAQ, Known-Limitations,
Security-and-Permissions (combined with auth FAQ), Client-Tips-and-
Troubleshooting, Quick-Start-Guide, Architecture-and-Patterns (outline).
Retired: Log-Into-Your-Target-Org, Available-Tools-and-Servers,
and 5 old-named pages replaced by reworked versions.
Updated all references: v1-beta.2 → v1, old scopes → mcp_api.
Added My Domain screenshots for URL pattern documentation.
