Collapse all merges does not show merge paths for filtered branches

If I filter more than one branch and enable "Collapse all merges" in the menu I don't see merges between the filtered branches!

I don't understand what is happening on the pictures. Can you add more details? What is the expected behavior?

Collapse all merges does not show merge paths

If you collapse merges, you will not see the other parent paths (i.e. the ones which were merged into other branch). If you merge main into tech/main/sprint and collapse this merge, you will not see it.

The correct way to avoid confusion is to not use merge for synchronization. I.e. do not merge main into a feature branch. Instead rebase the feature branch on main. Or use lean branching.

If i have a merge from main to tech/main/sprint branch. and both branches are filtered IN, then it would be great to see the branched line from main to sprint like in the uncollapsed mode.

so summary. if the branching can be displayed because both branches are visible. then draw the line like in the 2nd image (last line). the orange arc line from main to sprint.
